Charles Avedis Hutton, 24, a Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) competitor, was seen running through the parking lot of the Sheetz at 1508 Cedar Cliff Drive, Camp Hill, on Sunday, March 3, waving the massive blade and yelling, according to Lower Allen Township Police. Witnesses told officers he stripped off his clothes, charged at people, and ultimately stabbed a van—causing over $2,000 in damage.
Inside the store, terrified customers watched as a good Samaritan disarmed Hutton, taking the weapon before he bolted in a Subaru, police said. Officers arrived to find the machete dumped on a trash can outside and used witness accounts, surveillance footage, and Hutton’s driver’s license to confirm his identity.
Not His First Run-In With The Law
Hutton was involved in a separate incident at the IRS Colwick Office Park in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where police responded to reports of a male wearing a mask and carrying a backpack who had entered the building and made threatening statements, according to PWInsider. Employees were evacuated out of an abundance of caution.
Hutton’s terroristic threats charge stemmed from a prior incident in which he allegedly told an IRS employee, “Kill the IRS,” according to the Cherry Hill Courier-Post.
On Monday, officers found Hutton inside the Cherry Hill IRS office and determined he was unarmed. After securing the scene, police allowed employees to return to work. Hutton was charged with making terroristic threats and harassment, jailed in Camden County, and released Tuesday afternoon.
Bizarre Social Media Presence
Adding to the surreal nature of his arrest, Hutton appears to have posted a wild photo of himself posing in front of a red Subaru, holding a fan of cash while a large knife is clenched between his teeth. Behind him, the car’s doors are flung open, and liquor bottles rest on the hood. A stuffed tiger sits perched on the roof while he sports a disheveled blazer, gold chains, and a manic expression. The police shared the image with the press release.
Hutton is now facing new charges in Pennsylvania, including:
- Simple Assault by Physical Menace
- Disorderly Conduct
- Harassment
- Criminal Mischief – Deception or Threat
A summons has been issued for his arrest.
Hutton's preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 10, 2025, at 10:45 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Christopher Delozier.
